66ers Announce Open Tryout Dates
The Tulsa 66ers will hold open tryouts for the 2010-11 season Oct. 9-10 at the Tulsa Convention Center. 66ers coaches and Thunder basketball operations staff will evaluate the prospects. The Thunder recently opened its doors to 54 Special Olympics athletes from across the state. Thunder players, coaches and other supporting staff led the athletes through a series of drills, including dribbing, shooting, passing and rebounding.
